First Look at Gingerbread on the Samsung Captivate Tube. Duration : 2.47 Mins.

XDA Forum link: forum.xda-developers.com Link to download CM7 package: forum.cyanogenmod.com INSTRUCTIONS: FIRST TIME FLASHING CM7 TO YOUR GT-I9000: 1. Make sure your phone is fully charged! Update process will take some time. 2. Make sure there's enough free space at your internal sdcard (200MB) 3. If you are running a Samsung ROM and have disabled HDSPA using the magic dialer code, you have to enable it before you flash CM otherwise you won't be able to activate HDSPA on CM again. 4. Download the initial package: cm7-galaxys-initial-package.zip (link above) 5. Extract it 6. Copy following files to your internal sdcard - galaxys-efsbackup.zip - cm7-galaxys-initial-XXXXXXXX.zip 7. Flash "speedmod-kernel-k12n-500hz.tar" (OR ANY OF LATEST SPEEDMODS) osing odin or CWM 8. Reboot into recovery using 3-button-combo and apply galaxys-efsbackup.zip. - Don't use "reboot recovery" command or other shiny things to do this! 9. Flash cm7-galaxys-initial-kernel.tar as pda using odin without auto-reboot 10. Reboot into recovery using 3-button-combo 11. Choose "mounts & storage" and format system, data, cache 12. Apply zip from sdcard: cm7-galaxys-initial-XXXXXXXX.zip 13. Do a wipe! 14. Reboot OPTIONAL: Copy Gapps to your internal sdcard and flash at recovery NOTE: The buttons and rotation work for me as this is a Captivate kernel that I compiled for MYSELF and therefore NO BINARIES! Bugs Ive found: None yet, have been using as daily driver NO BINARIES AND OR SUPPORT.
